Product Description The tanks are shipped pre-loaded with resin, making installation easier. Included with the units are bypass systems with 3/4" and 1" threaded yokes, further simplifying the installation process.

How it Works Hard water enters the tank in service, filling it. As the water passes through the resin, the hard water ions are attracted to the resin, resulting in soft water at the bottom of the tank.

Regeneration Process When the resin becomes saturated with hard water ions, the tank goes into regeneration. Brine water is injected into the tank, rinsing the hard water ions off the resin and down the drain. Once the resin is free of the hard water ions, fresh, soft water backwashes all the brine water out, leaving the tank ready for service.

DuraWater Fleck 9100 SXT Digital Metered On Demand Control Valve The twin-tank system with the Fleck 9100 valve provides customers with continuous soft water, 24/7. The second tank acts as a backup, ready to immediately provide soft water once the first tank is depleted. While the second tank is in service, the first tank regenerates, ensuring a constant supply of soft water.

The 9100 valve has been engineered and tested to withstand the equivalent of 27 years of uninterrupted daily use. Unlike preset systems, the twin-tank system regenerates with soft water only when necessary, resulting in 15% savings in both water and salt.

Noryl Plastic Bypass Comes standard with 3/4" and 1" yokes.

Iron Hardness Test Kit Genuine units come standard with an iron hardness test kit.

The complete twin-tank water softener provides continuous soft water. It comes standard with a turbine meter and cable, a durable meter built to withstand years of water metering.
