The Aquasure Fortitude V2 Series Sediment/Carbon/Siliphos triple-purpose filter combines a multi-stage filtration design to address various water quality concerns. The outer sediment layer removes large particles, the inner carbon layer reduces chlorine, taste, and odors, and the additional siliphos media layer acts as a scale inhibitor, protecting your water heater, dishwasher, and plumbing fixtures from scale buildup. This filter helps to minimize staining and discoloration of water fixtures, while also improving the efficiency of electrical appliances and extending the lifespan of your plumbing system.

Rated at 25 Microns, this whole-house water filter is an affordable, first-stage pre-treatment solution for residential homes, effectively removing commonly found contaminants. The built-in pressure release valve simplifies the replacement of filter cartridges. The combination of a copper-zinc sediment filter and GAC filter delivers a 3-stage filtration process, trapping particles and sediments larger than 5 microns while inhibiting bacterial growth. This filter removes up to 99% of chlorine, VOCs, pesticides, and other undesirable odors and tastes, providing clean, healthy, and great-tasting filtered water.

The 1" FPT inlet/outlet allows for a fast water flow without loss of pressure, ensuring that all your daily water needs are conveniently met. However, this filter is not suitable for well and spring water sources due to the excessive sediments found in those water sources.
